That seems impractical with how a forum works, but you now have the option to subscribe to topics, and you can set it to send an email for every new post in it by going to your Control Panel, selecting Board Preferences, and checking yes where it says to receive notifications by email. I believe you can also subscribe to individual forums if you want to.
